Randy Pattison started his financial career by creating a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, Midwest Capital Management, Inc. to manage wealth for private individuals. After passing the Series 7 and Series 66 Financial Certification Exam, he became a Generalist and managed funds with his sub-advisors. He gained expertise in investment strategy for trust fund and portfolio management and soon thereafter seized the opportunity to acquire a State chartered, independent trust company with the responsibility of managing trust as a personal and corporate fiduciary.
Utilizing his expertise from a securities broker perspective, he recognized the need for services in the broker dealer industry and began selling independent trust services to Broker Dealers. This firm grew from $160 million to $420 million in assets under trust with four offices before Mr. Pattison hired an investment banking firm to sell the trust company to a bank.
Following his entrepreneur spirit, Mr. Pattison went back to his roots and purchased Belleair Wealth Management, LLC a well-established independent Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm.
Mr. Pattison received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from Indiana University. He attended graduate school and received a Masters of Theology from Trinity College and Seminary. He has completed several continuing educational classes in financial software, financial securities and trust management. As well, he passed Series 63, 65 and 7 Financial Certification exams and holds his Health, Life and Long Term Care insurance licenses in the State of Florida. He also holds a CTFA (Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor).
Randy and his wife of over 30 years, Lisa, have four children who all live and thrive in Florida. He also is a avid golfer and outdoorsman.
